Hey whats up World, I know I have been MIA for about a week
now. I have been so busy with work and the doctors, I just never had time to
make it online to post.
Updates on Shoulder:
Went in to get the A/C Joint injected with a numbing agent
& Cortisone (I believe it was cortisone).
They were doing the injection so we can narrow down the origin of the
pain. If the numbing medicine truly takes
the pain away, that means I have a problem with the A/C joint.
Well, turns out I do have something wrong with my A/C joint
I believe the problem was called DCO, or distal clavicle osteolysis. AKA
“weightlifter’s shoulder”. If this cortisone shot doesn’t take the inflammation
down, I might go ahead and get it shaved down. But this just means more time
out of the gym.
But I do
have to say, I actually feel better. The
numbing agent wears off within 6 hours, so the cortisone must be working to
reduce inflammation in my A/C joint. I
have not taken any ibuprofen lately, and I actually had a chest workout
yesterday. Felt some aggravation, but nothing to make me stop the workout.
Feels good
being able to wash my back again lol
