Some Quick History about me:

I was always into sports from a child to now. I was also very big growing up and always was overweight. I delt with all the jokes in school but i was not happy being overweight.

In 2005 i had to stop playing baseball due to severe shin splints. This caused me to gain all the weight that i should have gained, but was very active so always maintained a decent ‘big’ size.

Then in Novemeber 2005 i was in a Car accident in my little Volkswagen Golf. The car was totaled and my back was injured at the waist. The pain lasted throughout my Physical Therapy and just would not go away.

Then i talked to my Dr, and he finally gave me the hard truth, he said, “You will always have lower back pain there, if you stay overweight”. Then i realized how the weight was negatively affecting my life. This sent me foward to hardcore/strict dieting plan.

My Diet Beginings:
To start off i went on the slimfast FAD diet, which i would never recommend again. Yes i did loose alot of weight starting off, but i also lost a ton of hard earned muscle.

After a jump start with slim fast, i started reading diet books, etc. One book i DID come across was Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. Amazing book and got me started on eating balanced meals.

In about 6 months i went from 240lbs - 150lbs. This is a huge drop in weight, just by dieting, never stepped foot into a gym.

Now i felt 150lbs was just too small for my liking, so i bumped up my calories per day, got to the gym, lifted smart, lifted right, and am now sitting here typing this at 195lbs.

Remember everyone, ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN!
